HyperHippo
Hyper Hippo, the brilliant team behind Adventure Capitalist, hired RFG Software to create a choose your own adventure style game experience, called Retrocause. Players assist the mysterious ‘DG’ who has reached out to them in a desperate race against time.
The real-time playable interactive story plays out over several days over a Facebook Messenger conversation. RFG built a Facebook Messenger chatbot that responds to a player’s messages and prompts them to make choices that drive the action.
